on being 36 weeks pregnant

  • No estrías!

not so great:
  • My belly is so stretched that my skin itches, burns and you can see all my veins (I have one like Harry Potter's scar)
  • Retaining water: swollen hands and feet but still wearing my wedding rings, so it's not that bad.
  • Having to pee every 12 minutes.
  • Backache that wakes me up at night.
  • This woman on the street gave me the OMG!!! you are about to POP!  look...why do people do this?
so great:
  • By the end of this week I'll have a full term baby!
  • My mom arrives on saturday!
  • No stretch marks! I hope to keep it this way.
  • Had pre-natal visit yesterday and the baby sounds as happy as usual.
  • Every time I start complaining of feeling huge, the husband shows me a photo of a very pregnant Jessica Simpson to make me feel better. (It could be worse)
Sorry if this post is not very glamourous but it is my reality and everything has to be documented.

  3. Almost there! Enjoy these last few weeks of alone time with your hubby. It becomes more difficult when the baby comes. And I will insist that you look great. You look like one of those ladies that bounces back quickly. xoxo Danina

  10. This is such a fantastic concept for a blog post!! "lo malo & lo bueno" is so insightful - and almost makes me wish I were pregnant so I could comiserate with you about these issues.

Harry Potter scar! hahah . I guess it's not funny for you, but good sense of humor anyhow:)

Seriously, this is such a great idea, as it offers anyone interested insight into the real ins and outs of pregnancy.

Love this! :) keep it up. You're almost there !
