a baby shower!

El fin de semana celebramos la pronta llegada de mi bebesa a este mundo! Mis adoradas amigas mas cercanas organizaron el baby shower mas sweet y divertido.

Recibimos muchísimos regalos, se puede decir que ya estamos casi listos para recibir a nuestra pequeña. Somos muy afortunados de contar con estos increíbles amigos y compartir con ellos la vida!

Los últimos 3 años Julio ha sido el mes mas divertido y ocupado, celebramos el cumpleaños de Lucas, la tan deseada llegada del verano y hemos tenido la fortuna de recibir a la familia de visita. Esta vez estuvo con nosotros mi hermano menor y la pasamos excelente turisteando por la ciudad y sus alrededores.

El sábado pasado nos montamos en el ferry para ir a Toronto Islands y aprovechamos para re-festejar a Lucas con sus queridos tíos y primo bebe Colombianos. Compartimos un pic-nic, pastel de donas y los regalos que no podían faltar; la pasamos delicioso!

I'm on a boat!

Ok, we were on a ferry boat just for a short ride to Toronto Islands. Our friends organized a pic nic day and we all brought delicous food to share, it was kind of mother's day celebration part two for me, see in Mexico we always celebrate on May 10th no matter what day of the week it is, so of course this year I got to celebrate twice, yay!

And speaking of mothers, a dear friend couple surprised us all with great news, they're expecting a baby on december! All of us were thrilled, specially Lucas... yay for a new friend!

As you can see in a picture above, Lucas was used by his father as an Alice in Wonderland flamingo to play ball, it was hilarious he had so much fun... these two are made for each other.

After a long walk we sat down to have some cold beer before going back to the city on the ferry, it was a great sunday, I really love being by the water.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

Breakfast sure is my favourite meal of the day specially if pancakes are on the menu and last weekend our dearest friends invited us over to have a christmas breakfast before we left for Mexico.

We had blueberry pancakes and mexican hot chocolate with marshmallows, the babes wore their matching christmas jammies and we had lots of fun.

Thank you guys for being such great friends!

We are really getting into the holiday spirit around here, with christmas songs playing all day long at our house and evening walks to see the beautiful lights around the city.

A few days ago we attended a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with carols and free hot chocolate and cookies for everyone. Lucas was the happiest, he ate a cookie the size of his head.

 We also took Lucas and his best friend Sebastien to see Santa and take their picture, unfortunately both of them cried! It really wasn't the cutest Santa after all, can't blame them.

We had a great sunday with our friends at the farm, starting with a pancake breakfast, ending with lemonades and nibbling on corn. The babies looked adorable on their mini farmer overalls and even though Lucas was slightly attacked by a chicken they had lots of fun.
